Poor Man's Computer Tips

Okay. Here's a tip for you guys that I just found out:

When using Microsoft Excel if you are wanting more than one line in a cell, and you want to choose where that line is (note example)

I want to cho
ose where the
line goes.

Simply press 'Alt' and 'Return' where you want the new line to go:

I want to choose (Alt Return)
where the line goes.


This could possibly be the worst explanation ever, but it works! And I love it!

oh man. Makes sooooo much sense. You can do the same to make a page break in pretty much any word processor, but I would NEVER have thought of it for the lines in a cell. That's always soo annoying: you've gotta put spaces in untill the auto-wrap puts the lines where you want 'em. THANK YOU!

now figger out how to split a cell. . . .
